GAMEPLAY:

  • Old-school isometric  arena-brawler
  • 100% Skill shot based combat system
  • Quick-and-dirty gameplay; instant action
  • Supports Local Area Network (LAN) or Internet Play
  • Supports (4) separate teams (red, yellow, green, purple)
  • Supports up to (20) Players simultaneously
  • Play one of (7) characters with up to (21) unique abilities
  • Players only have 3 hit points with an optional shield
  • Players maintain a K/D ratio until disconnecting
  • Players do not incur friendly fire damage from allies

CONTROLS:

  • W, A, S, D to move around
  • Left-Mouse, Right-Mouse, and R for abilities
  • T for player "thumbs up" emote
  • Escape to exit back to menu

Install instructions

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. This game requires Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2019, if you play games you probably already have this. If not, you can find these here . Also, make sure you have the latest version of Microsoft .NET installed, this should be standard on Windows 10.
  2. To support internet play you will need to open or forward UDP port 42057 to the Host machine and disable any machine fire-walling and/or authorize connections on UDP port 42057. (If you need help: How to port forward).
  3. It is possible to play both online and over the local area network simultaneously. Internet clients will need to use the Internet NAT IP (port forwarded) of the Host and local clients will need to use the LAN IP.
  4. This game is intended for 1920x1080 resolution.

TO PLAY:

  1. Identify the Host IP address. (If you need help: Identifying your IP address).
  2. Unzip the download and launch "OnceUponALan.exe".
  3. On the host, select "Host," then choose a team and character, set a unique player name and click "Host." The game will load and the host will be in.
  4. Give the Host machine's IP address to other clients. 
  5. Other clients join by selecting "Join LAN or Internet" and entering the Host's IP, selecting a team and character, setting a unique player name and clicking the "Join" button. Be sure to select a different color team!
